Annwn Park Reference Lines

Influential Stallions

The lovely Pluto Plutona 14 Imp.
Imported by the Christensen's of Bibaringa Stud in 1977.

He is the sire of 114 Bonita as well as being closely related to 79 Saturn through her sire Pluto Nima XII (these stallions were half brothers) Interestingly enough, 240 Favory Gigi I bares a striking resemblance to this stallion. He is ‘Whiskers' Great Grand Sire on his maternal line. This stallion could also be a contributing factor to the very Spanish look of Favory Gigi II (‘Shadow') as the Pluto line is the Spanish line.

2 Neapolitano Trompeta I Imported in dam.

This stallion was extremely influential in the breeding of Lipizzaners in Australia . He was imported in Dam by Mr. Geoff Adcock. He was typical of the Neapolitano horse, being quite ‘Arab' in appearance. This stallion is the sire of 105 Gigi, he was also the sire of 110 Szuzi. Both Gigi & Szuzi bear a likeness to their sire. He was a very potent stallion. His offspring & their offspring all carry traits of exceptional movement, beautiful heads & long thick flowing manes & tails along with the ‘Snow White' iridescent coat.

 Pluto Nima XII Imp Piber

This stallion was Australian National Dressage Champion at Grand Prix level in the 1980's . He sired many top dressage horses that competed above Advanced level. Unfortunately he only sired one Purebred Lipizzaner in Australia. This being our lovely 79 Saturn. Saturn herself is a proven performance horse, competing to Elementary level & in harness prior to being placed in foal.

Some progeny by Pluto Nima XII competing in dressage & eventing.

Siglavy Flora 1.75 Imp Piber 1978.

This stallion was the first Lipizzaner stallion that was imported into Australia by Mr. G Adcock. He was a classical line Lipizzaner standing just over 15.2hh & was the mount for the head Director of the Spanish Riding School Colonel Hans Handler. This stallion was trained to High School level. He was also selected to stand at stud at Piber. Only a few select stallions have this privilege. Siglavy Flora 1.75 is found the lines of 3 of Annwn Parks mares. 79 Saturn, he is her Grand Sire on her maternal line. 237 Sagana & 249 Sava , he is their Great Grandsire on the dams line. This particular stallion line, mixed together with the lines from 100 Favory Neapolitano I, have constantly produced foals of height (16hh) & substance as seen in 237 Sagana & 249 Sava. Along with coming through into 79 Saturn's foals such as Annwn Park Arawn.

Influential Mares

Neapolitano XIX-2 Imp Hungary

The lovely Neapolitano XIX-2 was imported by the Christensen's of Bibaringa Stud, in 1972. This mare is very important our studs breeding. She is the dam of our foundation stallion, 100 Favory Neapolitano I. She was a large Hungarian mare, 15.2+hh. This Lipizzaner mare contributed allot to the breed here in Australia. Producing 11 foals in total. There are only 3 remaining direct offspring from this mare. 100 Favory Neapolitano I (the youngest at 20 years of age), Siglavy Neapolitano I (22 – 23 years of age) & his full older sister, Tural.

114 Bonita

Pictured here at 26 years of age. She is a first generation import & is the last living direct foal from the imported Hungarian mare Conversano XX-17 (imported by the Christensen's of Bibaringa Stud, in 1972) . 114 Bonita is the dam of Annwn Parks 105 Gigi, 225 Favory Bonita II & 202 Bonnie (dec). She has had a total of 13 foals, with 12 live births.

The imported mare 502 Trompeta X
