~ 114 Bonita ~

Sire: Pluto Plutona 14 (Imp Piber)
Dam: Conversano XX-17 (Imp Hungary) (Spadiglia mare line)

Grey/iridescent – 15.2hh DOB: 1981 

Pedigree

Bonita is one of the last 1st generation Lipizzaner mares in Australia. Her lines are Pluto (Piber) and Conversano (Hungary ). The Pluto line can be seen through the set of her neck along with the slight rectangular build of her body. The Conversano line (though her dam) shows in the way of her short back and the Arab influence in her head. She is a very classical & baroque style of mare with exceptional movement. Showing amazing elevation & suspension.

Her coat shows the much sort after iridescence and clear white colouring.  This wonderful mare has contributed immensely to the gene pool in Australia, producing exceptional progeny.

Sire: Pluto Nima XII (Imp Piber)
Dam: 16 Slava (Fistula/Stornella mare line)

 Grey/iridescent. Carries the Bay Gene – 14.2hh DOB: 24/11/1989

Pedigree

79 Saturn is Pure Piber and Lipica lines only, this mean she has no Hungarian influences through her linage. Saturn is Australia's only accredited Empire Line mare (to date) & even more rare….she is the only Purebred Lipizzaner by the now deceased Pluto Nima XII (Imp Piber). This mare also carries 298 Siglavy Flora 1-75 through her dam. She has the traits of the Siglavy line, with her strong short back, Arab influence in the head and croup and pronounced withers. She also shows the Pluto line, through the set of her neck.  Her foals to date have all been of generous size, exceeding 15hh & up to 16.1hh.

Saturn has also produced colour in her foals. She has been trained & competed at Elementary level dressage as well as in harness. She possesses a wonderful soft sweet nature.

Pedigree

249 Sava is an outstanding Purebred filly. She is extremely correct & very tall for the Lipizzaner breed standing near the same height as her older full sister, 237 Sagana. 

249 Sava is eligible to stand for full accreditation. She is registered and DNA validated with the Australian Lipizzaner Registry.

A very substantial filly in both height and bone substance, but also very feminine. She is Baroque & strong with fluid hindquarters & top-line & a wonderful front. Her movement is very extreme & correct. Highly elevated with a long moment of suspension. 249 Sava will be shown and ridden before joining the Stud brood mares.

Her dam 110 Szuzi (dec) was a classically bred mare & a half sister to 79 Saturn through the dam line ’16 Sava’. Once again the mix of the lines from 100 Favory Neapolitano I & the Siglvay line through the dam lines has produced an exceptional Lipizzaner.
